In our childhood, teddy bears are worn companions
And good listeners, never critical, 
And always reassuring.

They are bear-shaped security blankets,
Huggable enough to fold in our arms
And a perfect fit for our laps.

Their furry faces are a constant reminder
Of the childhood joy that lies within each of us,
Just waiting to be awakened.

Could anyone ask for a more devoted friend?

They are symbols of nostalgia and 
Allow a very small part of us
To remain a child forever.
